Jane E. Fountain is a Professor of Political Science and Public Policy, Director of the National Center for Digital Government, Director of Science, Technology and Society Initiative, and Interim Director of the Center for Public Policy and Administration at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Fountain is working on a research project to explore ways in which women can help shape and construct the Information Age, not merely benefit from using Internet-related technologies.
